It's great to back up photos and albums in full quality. There are some slight frustrating bits to it though like the fact that you don't have the option to set the photos by last edited or modified. Other than that I love it, I use it to display my professional photos to my clients and it's easy for everyone to view and download the full quality album. update: if you search for recently added you can see the images that were more recently added to Google photos even if they were taken earlier

This app is practically unusable anymore. The search engine doesn't ever freaking work when trying to find a specific photo, Even on Wi-Fi the page loads slow when trying to find a picture(Or doesn't load at all), It still doesn't have an option to where it can just save all of your photos/videos into albums without having to manually create them again. I'm only giving this 2 stars because it's one of the only ways that I know to backup my device photos without having to use a PC.

Search feature absolutely ruined. I used to be able to search for a photo so easily and scroll through a dated timeline chronologically when searching for a specific photo because I know roughly the time period when it was taken. Then I could expand all photos from a specific day right within the search This feature has been neutered for seemingly no reason. It's been incredibly frustrating. Why kill a good feature????? Literally makes no sense. BRING IT BACK

We are introducing a new storage management tool to help you easily manage the photos that count toward your storage quota. This tool will surface photos or videos you might want to delete – like blurry photos, screenshots and large videos.
