Honda “My Generator” smartphone application is for use only with Honda generators equipped with Bluetooth® technology. The application is able to do the following convenient functions:

If you are connected to a generator and walk out of range and the bluetooth disconnects, and then you walk back into range, the APP REFUSES TO RE-CONNECT, even with cycling the bluetooth on the phone off and on again. Rebooting the phone WILL allow it to reconnect, but that is ridiculous. A third party Bluetooth scanning app shows the generator bluetooth is ACTIVE, but the APP will NOT reconnect. It does this with BOTH generators I have. Not a good way to do things, HONDA.

Love the convenience, especially in the middle of the cold night. Having the added data on maintenance is also helpful. Would love a fuel gage but that's my only improvement.
