this game has great potential and is very unique. but once you get to a certain point, things feel like they haven't gotten much thought. mid to late game is very odd to play, has tons of bugs, and simply becomes unplayable in my opinion. the town system is flawed. once you get a tree farm in the town, you basically have infinite money, which ruins a big part of the game. houses have rooms without doors leading to them, which doesn't make sense. It's an amazing game with a rough execution.

There's a lot of jank and things break often. It's a very interesting game I like to play it but some of it is bad game design and some just breaks. Difficulty advances too quickly, while the equipment trails behind. There's also no info log on items or equipment or missions. Balancing of timing, equipment, trail-length and home town empowerment and farry prices makes the game start to feel like a slog as you have to constantly double back on the trail.

I'm updating my review, but keeping the score at 3 stars. The last update back in 2024 somehow fixed the unbearable lag that I kept getting and now I can play comfortably. However, there are still other issues that need addressing, for example, the main missions that get marked with checks, haven't updated for me, the farthest they've checked is "Make it to Eden falls", even though I've already bought and upgraded a house, that hasn't been checked of the list.
